Salym Finance shareholders earned nearly $1 million in dividends

Shareholders of the microfinance company “Salym Finance” received nearly $1 million (86.03 million KGS) in dividend income for the 2025 fiscal year.

According to the company’s report, 95 shareholders were entitled to receive dividends, including 3 legal entities and 92 individuals.

At the same time, an intriguing discrepancy was discovered in the company’s disclosures. The issuer’s prospectus as of the end of 2025 reported 92 shareholders—two legal entities and 90 individuals. However, the dividend payment report lists 95 recipients—three legal entities and 92 individuals.

Thus, three additional shareholders “appeared” in the company’s documents: one legal entity and two individuals. It is unclear whether this is due to changes in the shareholder registry that occurred after the prospectus was prepared, a data correction, or a technical error.

In any case, Salym Finance has fully fulfilled its obligations to investors by paying shareholders the entire amount accrued—86.03 million KGS.

At the same time, dividends for 2025 reached a record high for shareholders. Payments on common shares totaled 63.82 million KGS, which is more than five times the 2024 figure (12 million KGS) and more than double the 2023 level (29.3 million KGS). Holders of preferred shares from two issues received an additional 22.75 million KGS: 8.5 million KGS and 14.25 million KGS, respectively.

The company’s share capital structure remains predominantly private. Specifically, 95% of the capital is owned by individuals, and the remaining 5% by legal entities.

The largest shareholder of MFC is Roza Bedelbaeva, who controls 28.63% of the capital (173,200 shares). Roza Dzhumalieva and Aruuka Konushbaeva each hold 18.25% of the shares, while Bakytbek Kydyrmaev, chairman of the board of directors, owns 17.52% of the company’s capital (106 thousand shares).

Mirlan Kulov, Chairman of the Management Board of Salym Finance MFC, is also a shareholder of the company, holding 0.35% of the capital, or 2,142 shares.

Among the largest beneficiaries of dividend payments was also Tynchtybek Konushbaev, a member of the company’s board of directors, who owns 2.48% of Salym Finance’s capital, or 15,000 shares.
