05/27/2025, 10:27The Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, held a meeting with a delegation from the French Business Council MEDEF. The meeting was attended by representatives of major French companies operating in the fields of construction, railway infrastructure, energy, renewable energy, consulting, and other industries.
The main focus was on prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, launching new investment initiatives, and strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships. The Kyrgyz side presented key areas of economic development, including the mining sector, infrastructure projects, and measures to attract foreign investment.
Bakyt Sydykov presented the current economic situation in the country, highlighting its stability and openness to international cooperation. During the dialogue, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening trade and economic ties and implementing joint projects.
The visit of the French delegation comes amid intensified political and business dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and France.
