This was announced by Ayaz Baetov, Director of the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, at a press brunch with journalists.
According to him, it is proposed to completely abandon paper accounting reports to the Ministry of Finance. All necessary financial documents will be generated exclusively in electronic form through an automated treasury system.
«This will save time and resources and simplify processes for both local authorities and republican structures», — Baetov said.
He added that currently, digitisation is effectively duplicated by paper document flow, which reduces its effectiveness to zero.
«We still have a practice where reports are generated on a computer and then must be printed, filed and delivered in person. This takes time and resources, especially in financial departments», — he emphasised.
The proposal has already received a positive response from representatives of financial institutions, who have long been struggling with the overload caused by the need to maintain dual reporting.
