Banks bought $7.8 million at a rate of 87.45 KGS on the currency market

On January 26, the total volume of dollar transactions on the interbank currency market amounted to $7.8 million, according to data from the National Bank.

Of this amount, $5.2 million was accounted for by transactions with settlements on the date of conclusion, and another $2.6 million by transactions with settlements on a date other than the date of conclusion.

Trading opened and closed at the same level—87.45 KGS per dollar. This indicates the stability of the exchange rate during the trading day.

Compared to the previous trading session, demand for currency decreased by 10.86%, while the value of the US currency remained unchanged.
