07/12/2026, 16:35As of 6 July 2026, the price of petrol in Kyrgyzstan stood at $1.016 per litre. Among Asian countries, the republic ranked 16th in terms of fuel costs — from the cheapest to the most expensive. This is according to data from the GlobalPetrolPrices website.
According to GlobalPetrolPrices, the cheapest petrol in Asia was recorded in Iran — $0.029 per litre. Next came Kuwait ($0.339), Turkmenistan ($0.428) and Qatar ($0.576).
In Kyrgyzstan, petrol was cheaper than in Japan ($1.047), Pakistan ($1.069), China ($1.136) and Uzbekistan ($1.342), but more expensive than in Kazakhstan ($0.687) and Azerbaijan ($0.676).
The most expensive petrol among the countries surveyed was found in Israel — $2.545 per litre. High prices were also recorded in Jordan ($1.848) and Laos ($1.729).
The difference in fuel prices between countries is linked to tax levels, state price regulation, domestic oil production volumes and the terms of oil product imports.
