No savings or down payment required: 15 families received mortgages totaling 82 million KGS

In January, 15 families in Kyrgyzstan were able to purchase their own homes without a down payment using the Kelech mortgage guarantee. This was reported by the Guarantee Fund.

The total amount of guarantees issued during the month was about 22.8 million KGS, which allowed borrowers to take out mortgage loans worth over 82 million KGS.

The Kelech program aims to solve one of the key problems when buying a home—the lack of funds for a down payment. The guarantee mechanism covers up to 30% of the cost of the property, replacing the borrower's own savings.

The mortgage product has been available since May 2025 and has already become one of the key instruments of state support for citizens in the field of improving housing conditions.
