05/04/2025, 12:25Binance, one of the world's largest blockchain ecosystems, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The document provides for the development of long-term cooperation in the field of digital assets, including the introduction of cryptocurrency payments, educational initiatives and support for projects in the field of Web 3.0.
The signing took place during the first meeting of the Council for the Development of Digital Assets with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov.
One of the key areas of cooperation will be the launch of Binance Pay, a cryptocurrency payment solution that will simplify payments, particularly for tourists. The project also aims to promote the development of cross-border payments in Central Asia and the EAEU.
The parties paid special attention to education. Together with Binance Academy, educational programmes for citizens, government officials and financial institutions will be implemented in the country. The goal is to increase knowledge about cryptocurrencies, their advantages and risks, as well as to strengthen the financial literacy of the population.
"This cooperation underscores our commitment to innovation and economic growth," said Farhat Iminov, head of the agency. According to Binance's regional director Kirill Khomyakov, the company aims to make modern technologies accessible to all citizens of Kyrgyzstan and institutional clients.
