RCFР Approves Record Investment Budget for 2026 at XXI Council Meeting

At the 21st meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund Council, the investment budget for 2026 was approved. The volume of financing for new projects will exceed 200 million roubles, which is a record figure for the entire history of the fund.

Artem Novikov, Chairman of the RRCF Board, noted that this level of investment confirms the fund's key role in supporting Kyrgyzstan's economic growth. According to him, the Council also approved a number of major initiatives that will begin to be implemented as early as next year.

Bakyt Sydykov, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasised the high intensity of the meeting's agenda. A total of about 15 issues related to the fund's current activities and projects applying for funding were considered.

Special attention was paid to large investment projects worth over 100 million US dollars. They provide for the supply of raw materials and materials from the Russian Federation, which will strengthen Kyrgyzstan's production capacity, reduce import dependence and expand domestic value chains.

In addition, the Council approved new initiatives and regulatory documents aimed at improving the efficiency of the KRIF. These relate to personnel policy, regulation of the Council's activities and the development of corporate culture.

The decisions taken form the basis for large-scale investment programmes aimed at modernising key industries, developing production capacities and increasing the competitiveness of the Kyrgyz economy in the long term.
