The stock market has come to life: government bonds accounted for the bulk of trading

According to the results of trading on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange on June 16, the total volume of transactions amounted to 277.2 million KGS, which indicates a noticeable increase in the activity of participants. The primary market saw transactions worth KGS 133.2 million, while the secondary market saw transactions worth KGS 143.9 million. Almost the entire volume was accounted for by securities included in the official listing.

The largest transaction of the day was the placement of two-year government treasury bonds (GKO) worth 266.1 million KGS. This confirms the sustained interest of investors in government instruments.

Among private companies, the largest trading volume was recorded by Airports of Kyrgyzstan, with more than 10 million KGS.

Deals were also concluded on shares of Ashar Development, Aigul, Kyrgyzneftegaz, Bishkekkurulush, and other companies, with amounts ranging from several thousand to hundreds of thousands of KGS.

Alfa Oil, Elet-Capital, and ABN securities were traded on the bond market, with the total volume of transactions exceeding 470,000 KGS. Despite modest volumes, interest in debt instruments remains high.
