03/03/2026, 13:48The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic fined two currency exchange offices in Bishkek for violating the requirements of the legislation and regulatory acts of the NBK. Each office received a fine of 55,000 KGS.
In addition, citizen K.K.T. was fined 17,500 KGS for conducting transactions with foreign currency in Bishkek without a licence from the National Bank.
The regulator emphasises that such measures are aimed at strengthening currency discipline and preventing illegal financial transactions in the country.
