More than half of those surveyed in Kyrgyzstan have used cryptocurrencies to pay for goods and services

52 per cent of respondents to a survey of cryptocurrency users in Kyrgyzstan reported that they had used digital assets at least once to pay for goods or services.

A further 41.3% have not yet used cryptocurrencies for such transactions, but plan to do so.

At the same time, international transfers remain the more common use case. 59.1% of respondents have used cryptocurrencies for international transfers at least once, whilst 14.6% do so regularly.

The data was collected during a Binance survey conducted in August and September 2026 amongst more than 250 users from various regions of Kyrgyzstan.
