Consumer prices increased the most in Osh oblast

In January-February 2025 in Kyrgyzstan there was an increase in consumer prices and tariffs by 1.6% compared to December 2024. The main increase in prices affected food products and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, as well as tariffs for services for the population. At the same time, prices for non-food products decreased.

The increase in prices and tariffs was recorded in all regions of the country. The largest increase in prices - 2.8% - occurred in Osh oblast, which is associated with the growth of prices for non-food products. In Osh city, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 4.9%, and for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products - by 6.2%. 

Tariffs for services provided to the population showed the highest growth in Issyk-Kul region, where they increased by 2.2%.
