11/13/2024, 15:24A raid has been conducted targeting unauthorized gasoline trade, specifically on Profsoyuznaya Street and Mahatma Gandhi Street. This operation was a collaborative effort with the Municipal Inspection of the Bishkek City Hall and the Tax Service Administration of the Pervomaisky District. Seven individuals involved in illegal fuel distribution had 1,300 liters of gasoline confiscated. One violator illegally discharged fuel, breaching environmental regulations. Sellers had been repeatedly informed to cease unlawful fuel sales, yet the operators continue illegal activities in violation of Kyrgyz Republic laws. Unofficial fuel trading poses significant risks due to the often unknown quality and origin of such products. Additionally, improper fuel storage conditions create risks of fires and other hazardous situations, especially in densely populated urban areas.
