06/05/2026, 17:16As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum—one of the largest international platforms for the development of business and investment cooperation—a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Chakan HPP OJSC and the Russian company Rakurs-Engineering.
The document was signed by Ulan Kylishbekov, First Deputy General Director of Chakan HPP, and Leonid Chernigov, General Director of Rakurs-Engineering.
The signing of the memorandum took place as part of the Kyrgyz Republic delegation’s participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, led by First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev. The delegation also included Ulan Kylishbekov, First Deputy General Director of Chakan HPP OJSC.
The memorandum provides for cooperation on the automation of production processes at small hydropower facilities, the implementation of modern automated process control systems (APCS), as well as the exchange of experience and advanced engineering solutions.
Ulan Kylishbekov, First Deputy General Director of Chakan HPP OJSC, noted that the development of small hydropower is one of the priority areas of the Kyrgyz Republic’s energy policy. According to him, the use of modern technological solutions and international experience will improve the operational efficiency of existing facilities and create additional conditions for the implementation of new projects.
