Chakan HPP has begun installing charging stations for electric vehicles throughout the country

As part of the Ministry of Energy's program to develop renewable energy sources and infrastructure for electric transport, Chakan HPP has begun installing charging stations in Kyrgyzstan at its own expense.

To date, six charging stations are already in operation: two in Bishkek at 113 Suvorova Street (with a capacity of 80 kW) and four along the Bishkek-Torugart highway in the Kemin district. The stations are equipped with modern equipment that ensures fast and safe charging, making the use of electric vehicles more convenient and accessible.

Four more stations are planned to be installed in Kara-Kul in the near future. Work is currently underway to obtain the necessary permits in cooperation with local authorities.

In addition, on July 31, 2025, Chakan HPP signed a framework agreement with the South Korean company Blue Networks Co., LTD to implement a project for the production and installation of electric charging stations in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the plans, in 2026, new stations will appear in Bishkek, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Bazar-Korgon, Tash-Kumyr, Toktogul, Uzgen, Ken-Sai, Suusamyr, Balykchy, Cholpon-Ata, Karakol, Bosteri, and Tokmok.
