Kumtor's net profit in 2025 amounted to $706 million

The Kumtor deposit received $706 million in net profit at the end of 2025. The data was announced at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev, Minister of Natural Resources Medeer Mashiev, and other officials.

Kumtor has been under state control since 2021. During this period, 100.6 billion KGS were paid into the country's budget in the form of taxes and mandatory payments. In 2025, 70 tons of gold were mined at the deposit.
