02/12/2026, 16:45In 2025, revenues to the budget from the mining industry reached a record 65.4 billion KGS. This was announced at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Over the past five years, the industry has contributed more than 217.9 billion KGS to the budget, which is 3.5 times more than in previous periods. In 2024–2025, eight major projects were commissioned, and in 2025, 105 licenses were issued. At the same time, 320 licenses were revoked for violations, and 2,014 licenses are currently in force. Over the past five years, 141 tons of gold have been mined in the country.
