07/15/2025, 12:50In January–June this year, consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan rose by an average of 4% compared to December last year. This was reported by the country's National Statistical Committee.
The largest increase was recorded in the category of food products and non-alcoholic beverages, which rose in price by 6.1%. Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose by 3.4%, non-food products by 2.2%, and tariffs for services to the population increased by 1.3%.
Price increases were observed in all regions of the country. The highest overall price increase was recorded in the Chui region — 4.9%, primarily due to higher prices for food and beverages (+6.5%).
In the city of Osh, the largest price increase was observed in the alcohol and tobacco segment — 7.1%.
In the Issyk-Kul region, non-food products rose in price by 3.5%.
At the same time, the highest growth in tariffs for services for the population was recorded in the Naryn region — 4.7%.
Thus, food products remain the main driver of inflation in the country. At the same time, price growth for services and non-food products remains moderate.
