07/15/2025, 12:31According to preliminary estimates by the National Statistical Committee, Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product for January–June this year amounted to 711.2 billion KGS. It increased by 11.7% compared to the same period in 2024.
The main contributors to economic growth were commodity production, services and net taxes on products. In particular, the construction sector grew by 42.5%, services by 10%, industrial production by 9.8% and agriculture by 3.8%.
Although the service sector still accounts for the largest share of GDP (52%), it has declined compared to last year (53.8%). In contrast, the share of commodity-producing industries has grown to 31.5% (28.7% in 2024).
At the same time, the share of the manufacturing sector within industry increased from 12.8% to 14.2%, while the extractive industry remained stable at 2.1%–2.2%.

Net taxes on products also showed growth of 11.4%, maintaining a stable contribution to the economy at 16.5% of GDP.
