    The Kyrgyz economy continues to grow. GDP increased by 11.7% in the first half of the year.

    According to preliminary estimates by the National Statistical Committee, Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product for January–June this year amounted to 711.2 billion KGS. It increased by 11.7% compared to the same period in 2024.

    The main contributors to economic growth were commodity production, services and net taxes on products. In particular, the construction sector grew by 42.5%, services by 10%, industrial production by 9.8% and agriculture by 3.8%.

    Although the service sector still accounts for the largest share of GDP (52%), it has declined compared to last year (53.8%). In contrast, the share of commodity-producing industries has grown to 31.5% (28.7% in 2024).

    At the same time, the share of the manufacturing sector within industry increased from 12.8% to 14.2%, while the extractive industry remained stable at 2.1%–2.2%.

    Net taxes on products also showed growth of 11.4%, maintaining a stable contribution to the economy at 16.5% of GDP.
