12/13/2024, 09:47At a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Kim Kwangjae, Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized the country's readiness to expand partnership. During the dialog held at the Ministry, special attention was paid to strengthening bilateral relations and implementation of previously reached agreements.
Welcoming Kim Kwangjae, Daniyar Amangeldiev congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and expressed confidence that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Korea will reach a new level.
A key aspect of the discussion was the recent official visit of Sadyr Zhaparov to Korea, which took place on December 2-4. As part of it, important agreements and memorandums were signed, which are aimed at launching joint projects, increasing investment and activating technical assistance programs.
The Minister noted that the stability of the economy and a favorable investment climate make Kyrgyzstan attractive to partners. A significant role in strengthening bilateral ties is assigned to the Intergovernmental Commission, whose activities cover such areas as trade, health, education and culture.
The Korean side expressed interest in deepening interaction, emphasizing the importance of joint work in innovative and technological spheres, as well as the expansion of mutual trade.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue cooperation and actively implement the discussed initiatives aimed at developing bilateral ties.
