Wildberries & Russ and RCF signed a cooperation agreement

The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) and RBW (United Company Wildberries & Russ) have signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at developing e-commerce, supporting entrepreneurs and expanding trade ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
The document was signed by Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the RCF, and Robert Mirzoyan, Chief Executive Officer of RBW.

The agreement, signed within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, provides for cooperation in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kyrgyz Republic, creating conditions for scaling up local businesses using RBW tools, and joint participation in projects aimed at developing cross-border e-commerce and related infrastructure. The efforts of the RDB and the RCF are aimed at expanding export opportunities and accelerating the growth of local companies.

«Investments in infrastructure will optimise logistics, reduce delivery times and lower costs for suppliers, while modern digital solutions will simplify cross-border trade and generally benefit online commerce in Kyrgyzstan. We are delighted that our partner, the KRF, is ready to support such initiatives through project financing instruments and to work with us to develop e-commerce in Kyrgyzstan», — said Robert Mirzoyan.

In addition, under the agreement, the WDB plans to implement programmes to support women's entrepreneurship. The partnership with the KCRF will facilitate access to financing, training and skills development programmes for women entrepreneurs.

«The signing of this agreement is a strategic step for the Kyrgyz economy. We are not just talking about digitalisation and export growth, we are creating a real, working tool for this. Now, projects that receive funding from the KCRF will also have direct access to one of the largest digital trading platforms. This opens up a path to the markets of the EAEU countries for our producers, from small businesses to large enterprises», —emphasised Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the KCRF.

The agreement was signed as part of the RCF's strategy for 2023-2027, which aims to modernise the economy, develop integration processes in the EAEU and support priority business areas.

Wildberries&Russ (RVB LLC) was formed as a result of the merger of two market leaders — IT company Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ — with the aim of jointly creating a cutting-edge digital trading platform and providing seamless tools for the development of small and medium-sized businesses. Currently, the combined company operates in Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as in China and the UAE, from which goods are imported.
