Even after the revocation of their licenses, banks still have 44 million KGS in their accounts

At the end of the reporting period, the total volume of loans reached 461 billion 63.4 million KGS, of which 44 million KGS remain on the balance sheets of banks in the process of liquidation. This is stated in the data of the National Statistics Committee.

The breakdown by portfolio quality also reflects the presence of banks in liquidation, with 44 million KGS of the 14 billion 508.5 million KGS in overdue debt attributable to them. These liabilities remain in the statistics until all procedures for closing the portfolios are completed.

Even after ceasing operations, such banks continue to be included in the overall lending structure, which indicates the length of the liquidation processes and their impact on aggregate market indicators.
