02/28/2026, 18:13To implement the Law “On the Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory with a Special Legal Regime and Status,” a Kyrgyz delegation led by Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Justice Saira Yzakova, made a working visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
During the visit, meetings were held with the leadership of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) international financial centres, during which issues related to the formation of an independent regulatory environment, the functioning of specialised financial courts and the attraction of international investment were discussed.
The Minister of Economy and Commerce also met with the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Dr. Tani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, to discuss prospects for expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the UAE.
The visit is aimed at studying international best practices for the further institutional development of the Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory.
