02/04/2025, 13:47MP Eldar Abakirov proposed to introduce online home insurance in Kyrgyzstan to increase accessibility and convenience of the process.
During a meeting of the Transport Committee, he noted that with digitalisation, it would be more convenient and faster for citizens to take out insurance with just a few clicks, as is already the case with paying fines online.
‘There is no incentive to go and pay in offices. Online insurance will make it possible to quickly issue a policy, which will attract more citizens,’ Abakirov said.
In addition, the deputy proposed a campaign that would provide discounts to those who sell property and have valid insurance, which could be an additional incentive for people.
Abakirov emphasised the importance of home insurance, saying that no one is insured against accidents, and creating convenient conditions for this process will help increase citizens' interest in insurance. At the same time, the draft law ‘On Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic’ was being considered in the second reading.
