Mobile stands with a capacity of almost 10,000 seats are being purchased for the Nomads’ Games at a cost of 104 million KGS

The Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy is procuring mobile stands with a capacity of nearly 10,000 seats for the World Nomad Games. This was announced by the Minister of Culture, Mirbek Mambetaliyev.

According to him, prefabricated grandstands with a total capacity of almost 10,000 seats will be purchased. The contract value, including delivery and customs clearance, amounts to 104 million KGS. The purchase is being made directly from a Chinese manufacturer.

The grandstands are intended for kok-boru competitions at the racecourse in Cholpon-Ata, where the closing ceremony of the World Nomad Games is also scheduled to take place.

“The first batch of mobile stands is arriving tonight, and their assembly will begin as early as next week,” the minister said.

Once the Nomads’ Games have concluded, the stands will also be used for other events. According to Mambetaliyev, the mobile structure will enable the Ministry of Culture to organise touring concerts and mass events with a capacity of up to 10,000 spectators in any region of Kyrgyzstan.
