1,400 combine harvesters are ready for harvesting grain crops in the country

In 2025, 1,422 grain harvesters are ready to participate in the grain harvest across the republic. Another 490 are in preparation.

Today, the active phase of the harvest campaign is underway in the southern regions of the country.

To ensure the efficient organisation of work and the even distribution of equipment, employees of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, together with district agricultural development departments and local authorities, have carried out mobilisation measures in the Issyk-Kul, Naryn, Batken and Chui regions. It is expected that an additional 150 grain harvesters will be sent to these regions.

A total of about 400 combine harvesters have been mobilised for grain harvesting in the southern regions of the country, of which about 100 are operating in the foothill agricultural areas. According to estimates, the average workload per combine harvester this year is 260.1 hectares.
