11/14/2024, 13:27Speaking at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov said that by the end of the year more than 150 new enterprises with a total investment of $2.2 billion will be opened in Kyrgyzstan.
Thanks to this, 19 thousand new jobs will be created in the country.
“Among the opened new enterprises: in the spheres of manufacturing industry 124 enterprises, energy - 18 enterprises, mining - 8, 6 trade and logistics centers, 2 enterprises for waste processing”, - said Akylbek Zhaparov.
He emphasized that enterprises are opening across the country. Thus, 45 enterprises have been launched in Chui oblast, 23 in Osh oblast, 12 in Batken oblast, 16 in Issyk-Kul oblast, 18 in Bishkek, 12 in Jalal-Abad oblast, 15 in Naryn oblast, 10 in Osh and 7 in Talas oblast.
Continuing his speech, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that over the past three years, the industrial production of Kyrgyzstan has demonstrated growth rates and expansion of key sectors due to investment and government support. According to him, the initiative to launch 100 enterprises in honor of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast gave a strong impetus.
“In 2023, the total industrial output amounted to 482.8 billion soms, and in 2024 it will reach 690 billion soms. If we briefly dwell on the main achievements, Kyrgyzstan started producing cars for the first time, established the production of standard gold bars, cement and launched the production of new types of medicines,” he added.
