Incomes of Kyrgyz citizens increased by 20.4%

The services sector became the largest segment of the Kyrgyz economy in January-August 2025, providing growth of almost 9.9% and total output of 808.6 billion KGS. The increase was due to growth in lending (+45.3%), expansion of trade and transport services, as well as growth in household incomes.

The average monthly nominal wage for January-July was 42 thousand 522 soms, increasing by 20.4%. The real growth of wages is 12.0%. Especially high rates of increase were recorded in the spheres of real estate, construction, finance and public administration.

In parallel, hotel and restaurant services (+25.9%), cargo transportation (+7.7%), as well as the information and communication sector (+6.5%) grew actively. The contribution of the services sector to the overall economic growth totalled almost 4.97 percentage points, cementing it as the main "locomotive" of the country's GDP.
