The income of the population of Kyrgyzstan increased by 7.4%, but real income decreased

The nominal cash income of the population of Kyrgyzstan in January–September 2025 amounted to 736 billion soms, an increase of 7.4% compared to the same period in 2024. These figures were provided by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Labour income remains the main source of income, accounting for 79.7% of the total. Social transfers account for 12.6% of household income, and income from the sale of agricultural products from private farms accounts for 5.1%. At the same time, average real cash income per capita amounted to 11,398.2 soms per month, which is 2.2% lower than in the same period last year. Average disposable income per capita (excluding mandatory payments and contributions) reached 11,615.4 soms per month.

The difference in income levels between regions remains significant. Above-average figures for the republic were recorded in Bishkek (by 3,513.6 soms), Chui region (by 616.8 soms) and the city of Osh (by 101.2 soms). Below the average are Naryn region (by 3,175.9 soms), Talas region (by 2,048.1 soms), Issyk-Kul region (by 2,002.6 soms), Jalal-Abad region (by 1,003.8 soms), Osh Region (by 657.1 soms) and Batken Region (by 540.4 soms).

In addition, income distribution remains uneven: the 20% of the population with the highest incomes account for more than 47% of all cash receipts.
