The dollar recovered after falling to 87.45 KGS — official exchange rates as of March 5

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has published the official exchange rates for March 5, 2026. After previous volatility, the US dollar is holding its position and trading at 87.45 KGS against 87.4495 the day before. The daily change was +0.00057%.

The European currency is showing a decline. The euro fell from 101.6469 to 101.4333 KGS, losing 0.21%.

The Russian ruble also continued to weaken, falling from 1.1302 to 1.1272 KGS, a decline of 0.27%.

The Kazakh tenge fell from 0.1757 to 0.1748 KGS, a drop of 0.51% — the largest relative change among the major currencies over the day.

The Chinese yuan corrected downward from 12.6768 to 12.6535 KGS, losing 0.18%.

It should be noted that after a major currency intervention by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, the US dollar fell slightly to 87.4499 KGS per dollar.
