Donald Trump announced a strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies

US President Donald Trump has announced a decree to create a strategic reserve of the country's cryptocurrencies.

He wrote in a post on social network Truth Social that the new cryptocurrency reserve will include cryptocurrencies such as Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL), and Ripple (XRP).

‘The U.S. Strategic Cryptocurrency Reserve will elevate a key industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden administration, so my Executive Order on Digital Assets directs the Presidential Task Force to create a strategic cryptocurrency reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA,’ Trump wrote.

He noted that he aims to make the US ‘the cryptocurrency capital of the world.’
