EDB ready to consider preferential financing terms for Kambarata HPP-1

The Eurasian Development Bank is ready to participate in the Kambarata HPP-1 project. This was announced by Ruslan Dalenov, Deputy Chairman of the EDB Board, at the bank's final press conference in Almaty.

Dalenov emphasized that such large-scale projects can be implemented in a syndicate.

The bank is even ready to consider more favorable financing terms, given the significance of the project and its priority status as a mega-investment project for both the republic and the development bank.

"We will certainly consider it. We have always made and are ready to make our proposals. As soon as there is agreement between the syndicates, governments, and the implementing company, we are ready to participate," Dalenov said.
