Pasta exports from Kyrgyzstan have risen by a third

Between January and May 2026, Kyrgyzstan exported 2,472 tonnes of pasta worth $3.79 million. Compared with the same period last year, the volume of exports rose by 34.6 per cent, whilst their value increased by 27.3 per cent.

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, in the first five months of 2025, the republic exported 1,836.9 tonnes of pasta worth $2.98 million.

In value terms, exports in soms increased from 260.1 million to 331.7 million soms, or by 27.5 per cent.

Tajikistan became the largest buyer by volume, whilst Kazakhstan was the largest by value of supplies. A total of 781 tonnes of products worth $1.23 million were supplied to this country, accounting for around 33 per cent of the total export volume.

Kazakhstan ranked second, with 569.5 tonnes worth $1.09 million. Significant shipments were also made to Belarus – 437.8 tonnes ($315,900) – and Uzbekistan – 324.1 tonnes ($524,700).

However, the highest growth in exports was recorded for Tajikistan: the volume of exports to this country more than doubled – by 125.1 per cent – whilst the value of exports rose by 127.6 per cent.
