07/20/2026, 17:45Officials from the Jalal-Abad Regional Department of the Ministry of Mines and Natural Resources have identified several environmental violations within the city of Kara-Kul and at the Kurpsay Reservoir. The total amount of damage caused amounted to 130,018 soms.
At the Chon-Tash pasture, situated within the administrative boundaries of Kara-Kul, the illegal dumping of industrial waste was recorded. The damage to the soil cover is estimated at 75,0168 soms.
Furthermore, in the Bytý section of the same pasture, the illegal ploughing of pasture land was identified, resulting in damage amounting to 51,800 som.
Furthermore, in the Esh-Sai section of the Kurpsai Reservoir, the illegal felling of a tree with a diameter of 21 cm was confirmed. The damage to the flora amounted to 3,050 soms.
Investigations are being carried out into all the identified incidents in accordance with current legislation.
