Exports of glassware and packaging materials exceeded 6.4 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2025

In January–September 2025, exports of glassware amounted to 7,982,583 items worth $2,449,000. The bulk of the shipments went to neighbouring countries.

Kazakhstan became the largest buyer of Kyrgyz glassware, with 4,914,522 items worth $1,445,000 shipped there. Next was Uzbekistan, which imported 1,959,373 glass containers worth $639,000.

Russia received 639,000 units (worth $176,500), and Azerbaijan received 296,000 units (worth $164,800). Tajikistan purchased 118,800 items worth only $13,000, and the smallest batch — 53,000 items worth $10,900 — went to Slovakia.

Exports of cork and packaging accessories from the subsoil were also significant, amounting to 6,465,289 tonnes worth $4,211,000.

Russia became the leader in imports of these products: 6,465,000 tonnes worth $4 million were sent there. Kazakhstan purchased 24.3 tonnes worth $178,400, and Uzbekistan purchased 0.2 tonnes worth $1,900.
