Kyrgyz energy companies receive new special equipment to prepare for the autumn-winter period

On June 20, Kyrgyz Republic Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev handed over the keys to new special equipment to OJSC “NESK.” The company purchased an additional 16 units of equipment—eight excavators and eight aerial platforms—for more than 60.9 million KGS. The purchase was made as part of the capital construction plan for 2025 and is aimed at improving the reliability of the power grid infrastructure.

Ibraev noted that the renewal of the vehicle fleet is an important step ahead of the autumn-winter period. In total, 70 units of special equipment worth more than 163 million KGS were purchased in 2025. The first batch of 54 vehicles was purchased with the company's own funds at the beginning of the year. The minister stressed that the new equipment will enable faster repair of accidents and ensure stable power supply.

The handover ceremony was attended by Altynbek Rysbekov, CEO of OJSC “NES Kyrgyzstan,” Azamat Paizov, director of the Bishkek Electric Grid Company, and other industry representatives. The renewal of the vehicle fleet is intended to increase the mobility of repair crews and the overall level of safety at energy infrastructure facilities.
