Farmers in Kyrgyzstan offered preferential loans for agricultural machinery

In Kyrgyzstan, farmers and agricultural producers were informed about the possibility of purchasing agricultural machinery on preferential terms. The event was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Today, the Department of Cooperation, Mechanisation and Innovative Technologies in Agriculture presented farmers with mechanisms for purchasing all types of agricultural equipment through Ayil Bank and Eldik Bank with the support of the ministry.

The key condition is preferential loans at 6% per annum. Under this programme, Ernis Bayyzbek uulu, a farmer from the Talas region, has already purchased agricultural machinery.

As part of the event, modern equipment purchased by the ministry was demonstrated at the Avtomas Radiator LLC facility. In particular, the following types of equipment were demonstrated:

• Belarus tractor;
• grain harvester;
• baler (machine for pressing hay);
• plough;
• disc harrow;
• tractor trailer;
• potato harvester;
• beet harvester;
• cultivator for ridge formation;
• seed drill;
• slot cutter (deep soil cultivator);
• land leveller;
• stone picker;
• sprayer.

The event was aimed at providing farmers with specific and understandable information on how to upgrade their equipment and reduce their financial burden with the help of government programmes.
