The financial results of Kyrgyz companies grew 1.6 times

At the end of 2024, the total profit of Kyrgyz enterprises reached 216.1 billion KGS, which is 77.1 billion more than a year earlier. Thus, the net financial result grew 1.6 times, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The main contribution to profit growth was made by trading companies, which earned 31.4 billion KGS more than in 2023. Revenues also increased for enterprises engaged in the production of metals and metal products (+17.2 billion), professional and scientific activities (+7.7 billion), and mining (+4.6 billion).

The most profitable sectors remain wholesale and retail trade (72.6 billion KGS) and metallurgy (69.8 billion). At the same time, the energy sector remains unprofitable, with companies in the industry ending the year with a loss of 20.7 billion KGS.
