The financial authorities of five countries — Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan — signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of public finance management.
On behalf of Kyrgyzstan, the document was signed by Deputy Minister of Finance Ernst Kaldybaev.
The key objective of the document is to strengthen multilateral cooperation and form a professional community for the exchange of experience between the financial authorities of the CIS countries. This concerns budget reforms and the exchange of practices in budget planning and execution.
In essence, a professional community of financiers from the post-Soviet space is being created, where it is possible not only to share experience, but also to seek joint responses to common challenges — from the efficiency of budget spending to the fair distribution of resources.
