GIC cancels shares worth 9.5 billion KGS

The State Mortgage Company Open Joint Stock Company has decided to cancel part of its previously issued shares worth 9.52 billion KGS. The decision was made at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on March 4.

According to the approved results, the company will cancel 95,196 shares with a par value of 100 KGS each. The total amount of cancelled securities is 9 billion 519 million 600 KGS.

After that, the shareholders approved an additional issue of shares to further increase the company's capital. It is planned to issue 350,000 ordinary shares with a par value of 100 KGS each for a total amount of 35 billion KGS.

Thus, taking into account the new issue, the capital of the State Mortgage Company will increase by another 35 billion KGS. According to the company, its current volume is about 87.5 billion KGS.

All shares will be placed privately in favor of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, which is the sole shareholder of the company.

The shares will be paid for in cash in the national currency. The term for regulating the issue on the securities market is set at ten months from the date of registration with the authorized state body.

In addition, the shareholders approved amendments and additions to the company's charter. After registration of the results of the share issue, the document will be re-registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.
