According to the special services, an organized criminal group consisting of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan had been operating in the region for a long time. The participants in the scheme systematically violated customs, tax, and border legislation, transporting various consumer goods along the route “Fergana - Chon-Kara - Kadamzhai.” .
According to the plan, rice was purchased in large quantities in Uzbekistan, delivered to the Chon-Kara enclave, and from there illegally transported to Kyrgyzstan. The goods were unloaded at the residence of a Kadamzhai district resident in the Ak-Turpak aiyl okmotu, after which they were sold domestically.
At present, one of the organizers of the scheme, a Kyrgyz citizen with the initials M.N.A., is under investigation.
The State Committee for National Security notes that it is continuing its efforts to ensure food security and crack down on smuggling channels in the republic. Further work is underway to identify similar cases.
