In Kyrgyzstan, GDP per capita grew by 86% by 2021 and amounted to $2,500

The Kyrgyz economy continues to demonstrate steady growth, which is directly reflected in investment activity and the strengthening of the country's financial stability. This was announced by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev at an expanded meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh during the consideration of the Cabinet's report for 2024 and budget documents for 2025-2028.

According to him, at the end of 2024, GDP per capita amounted to $2,513, an increase of 86% compared to 2021. In 2025, this indicator is expected to grow further, reaching $2,800.

In 2024, investment in fixed capital reached 283.2 billion KGS, an increase of 18.1%," the Prime Minister noted.

He added that monetary policy is aimed at maintaining the stability of the national currency, the KGS.

“Despite the influence of external factors, including import inflation, the country remains macroeconomically stable, creating favorable conditions for long-term development and attracting investment,” he said.
