05/22/2025, 08:35As part of a working trip to the Talas region, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev visited the Jerui gold deposit on May 21, where he familiarized himself with the work of the Alliance Altyn enterprise.
The facility, which has repeatedly been the subject of both economic expectations and public attention, has demonstrated results: the factory has reached its design capacity of 5 tons of gold per year. Over the past four years, 6.9 million tons of ore have been extracted from the deposit, and 17.6 tons of doré bars have been produced, of which more than 17.3 tons have already been sold.
Kasymaliyev was presented not only with production data, but also with the company's approaches to ecology, technology, and safety. The head of the cabinet paid special attention to the construction of the second stage of the tailings storage facility, a critical infrastructure facility for compliance with environmental standards.
The company reported that since 2015, 28.4 billionKGS have been transferred to the budget and extrabudgetary funds, of which 21.5 billion are taxes from gold sales. From 2016 to 2025, the company allocated 317.8 million KGS for social needs in the region, including healthcare, education, sports, and infrastructure.
The deposit is not only about metal, but also about people. The mine and its contractors employ 1,500 people.
During his tour of the facility, the Prime Minister noted the importance of responsible subsoil use and compliance with relevant safety and environmental standards, and wished the company further success.
Kasymaliyev also visited the construction site of a new residential complex with 310 apartments, which is being built under the State Mortgage Program.
