05/21/2025, 09:00Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev held a meeting with a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by Hassan Moazeb Al-Huwazi, Chairman of the Board of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
During the talks, Adylbek Kasymaliyev expressed confidence that the visit of the Saudi Arabian business delegation would create favorable conditions for strengthening ties with Kyrgyz entrepreneurs and would also be a step toward concluding mutually beneficial agreements in the field of investment.
“Your delegation includes leaders of leading Saudi Arabian companies. I am confident that this visit will give new impetus to bilateral cooperation. The Kyrgyz-Saudi Business Council plays an important role in this process,” Kasymaliyev said.
The head of the Cabinet also spoke about Kyrgyzstan's macroeconomic successes. In particular, he shared the results achieved by the country over the past three years. Namely, stable economic growth of 9% and real GDP growth of 11.7%. In addition, Kasymaliyev noted that the international rating agency Standard & Poor's has assigned Kyrgyzstan a credit rating of “B+” with a “Stable” outlook.
He emphasized that 128 investment projects are planned to be implemented in the country by the end of 2025, which, according to the prime minister, demonstrates the effectiveness of the reforms being carried out.
In his response, Hassan Moaziz Al-Huwazi emphasized the Saudi side's interest in strengthening the partnership and expressed readiness to promote cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
We would like to add that the volume of bilateral trade between the countries at the end of 2024 amounted to $2.83 million.
The meeting identified promising areas for cooperation, including the energy sector, tourism, the construction of logistics centers, and the export of Kyrgyz agricultural and meat products to Saudi Arabia.
