Today, 9 February, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev conducted an inspection of Bishkek CHPP.

The meeting was attended by Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, who presented a report on the current state of the plant, its capacity and repair plans for 2025.

The main attention was paid to the reliability of power supply to the capital and elimination of consequences of the accident in 2024. Preparation for the next winter season was discussed, including measures to reduce emissions and increase gas utilisation.

Stable operation of CHPPs is critical for the city, especially in winter. The authorities emphasise that the modernisation of the plant should improve the environmental situation and ensure uninterrupted heat supply.
