05/26/2025, 12:16Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev spoke at the 92nd General Session of the World Organization for Animal Health in Paris. He spoke about the significant steps taken by Kyrgyzstan to develop its veterinary system.
The country has updated its legal framework in line with international standards, strengthened epizootic control, and introduced disease monitoring and epidemiological information exchange systems.
Torobaev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is proud of its environmentally friendly, organic products, which meet the highest international quality and safety requirements. The main priority is to bring the veterinary system and agricultural products up to international standards.
