The State Tax Service has completed the digitisation of certificates of state registration for sole traders issued prior to 2022. The electronic version of the document is available in the Taxpayer’s Portal on the website cabinet.salyk.kg.
To obtain the certificate, a sole trader simply needs to log in to their personal account, open the ‘Certificates of State Registration for Sole Traders’ section and download the document. If necessary, it can be printed out.
The main change concerns cases where a certificate is lost. Whereas previously entrepreneurs were obliged to publish a notice of the document’s loss in an official print publication, this is no longer necessary – the electronic version can be obtained independently at any time.
Until 2022, certificates of state registration for sole traders were issued only in paper form. If they were lost, the law required the publication of a notice declaring the document invalid before a duplicate could be obtained.
