The State Tax Service collected 21 billion KGS from debtors, while writing off old debts owed by nearly 100,000 businesspeople

Over 11 months, the State Tax Service collected 20 billion 996 million KGS in taxes and insurance contributions from debtors. The money was transferred to the budget as part of efforts to reduce tax arrears.

The service notes that the result was achieved through rigorous and systematic work with debtors, as well as enhanced analytics in the administration of payments. At the same time, based on the law of July 31, 2025, bad debts were written off for 97,200 entities. This made it possible to “clean up” the debt register and focus on actual collection.

Digital tools, online payment of taxes and contributions, integration of IT systems with the databases of other government agencies, notifications via the taxpayer's account, and SMS alerts about debts also played a significant role.
