Hong Kong investor acquires 90% stake in Kyrgyzstan IT company

On 13 August, a transaction was concluded at the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange — BTS CJSC auction for the sale of a controlling stake in BIG DATA OJSC, a company engaged in the development and sale of software.

The buyer was Alpenfort Future Technologies Fund Ltd., listed in the transaction documents as registered at Unit G15, 14 King's Road, Tin Hau, Hong Kong. The company acquired 90% of the shares at a nominal value of 900,000 KGS.

The previous owner of the stake was Pavel Dikarev, a citizen of the Republic of Cyprus.

However, according to the online directory of Hong Kong companies, no confirmation of the existence of Alpenfort Future Technologies Fund Ltd. at the address indicated in the documents could be found. However, public registers mention the Alpenfort Capital group, based in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, which works with investment funds and technology projects. It includes the Hong Kong investment firm Alpesnfor Capital Partners. The company's website states that it provides capital to companies with high growth potential, with a particular focus on Eurasia.

Although the origin of the foreign capital could not be definitively confirmed, it is evident that through Alpenfort Future Technologies Fund Ltd., a controlling stake in the Kyrgyz IT company passed into the hands of a foreign investor.
