Gosfinholding consolidated 99% of the shares of the State Brokerage Company

State Brokerage Company OJSC, re-registered in November as a private company with state participation, announced the appearance of a new majority owner in the register. According to official data, 99% of the Company's ordinary registered shares are controlled by the State Financial Holding Company. The changes came into effect on December 9.

The holding company is one of the founders of GBC, along with the Ministry of Finance, which apparently owns 1% of the shares. The concentration of the stake in the hands of the holding company effectively turns the brokerage company into a financial infrastructure structure that is fully controlled by the state.

We would like to add that on December 30, shareholders will gather at an extraordinary meeting to resolve a number of issues. The agenda includes:

  • approval of the brokerage company's budget for 2025;
  • adoption of the “Internal Auditor” regulation and election of an internal auditor;
  • approval of the director's job description;
  • setting remuneration for the director and internal auditor;
  • approval of the Company's investment policy.

The list of meeting participants will be formed on December 15.
